Highlights from Week 2!!

Here are some highlights from week 2 of "remote learning!!"

This 3rd grade student is really using resources well!! I see the class Power Point, a unique visual image on a tablet, the architectural detail resource from the paper packet AND his work!! Well done!!

A 2nd grade student found a Georgia O'Keeffe image on the computer and created their own drawing to practice color overlapping!!

This 3rd grade student used many details to create a drawing of a neighborhood!

A 5th grade student created many different patterns to explore color relationships for the Paul Klee inspired project.

One of the students in the 5th grade TAG class sketched many birds from observation. This was one of my favorites.

Maybe YOUR artwork will be featured in next week's student gallery!! Keep on creating!!!

  1. The O'Keefe flowers are wonderful, especially for 2nd-graders. My Antelope Canyon blog post parodies some of her work. I primarily teach art to 5th-graders. Love the pattern and color-relationships project inspired by Klee. The background of your blog is beautiful too! Thanks.
